NOT ALL LEATHERS ARE CREATED EQUAL

Full Grain Leather
The pinnacle of quality.
It's the top layer of the hide, the most resistant and natural. It has not been sanded or buffed, so it retains the animal's life marks and develops a beautiful patina over the years. This is the leather we use in our pieces imported from Colombia.
Top Grain Leather
Balance between elegance and uniformity.
It is lightly sanded to remove imperfections and a finish is applied. It is very soft and flexible, ideal for those seeking a more flawless and uniform look without losing durability.
Genuine Leather (Genuine Leather / Second Skin)
The essence of getting the most out of something.
Although the name sounds like "the best," it technically refers to the lower layers that remain after removing the top part (the "split"). It is real leather, but it requires treatments and coatings to look good. It is functional, though less durable than full grain.
Corrected-Grain Leather
Perfect and controlled textures.
This is leather onto which an artificial grain is stamped (such as Saffiano or crocodile style). It is excellent for items that require a very specific color or greater resistance to surface scratches.
Suede
Softness and velvety texture.
It is obtained from the inner part of the hide. Its finish is soft to the touch and visually very inviting, though it requires special care against moisture due to its porosity.
